Introduction
Hello & welcome 🙂 My name is Ahmed Shaikh Memon. I did B.S. in Computer Engineering from Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan back in 1996-2000.
Curiosity
I am a CURIOUS George. During childhood, I used to only play with toys having some machine or motor and used to open them to see how they work. In 1990, when I was in 8th standard, my father bought 386 architecture computer with 4 Color CGI Monitor having Windows 3.1 installed. That time, someone told me that games are developed in C Language. My father bought me a BASIC Language book. I tried to learn (ofcourse Google was not born that time) how to move a graphic object over the screen with keyboard keys. Ultimately I accomplished that task!! more about my thought process on my blog here.
What’s in Teemya?
The name Teemya is my inspiration from 13th century Islamic scholar Ibn Taymiyyah, I may or may not agree to his teachings but his life has inspired me a lot. He was by birth from Hanbali school of jurisprudence but later he never tagged himself to particular sect. He used to fond of writing that much that, even while he was in the prison and even when king instructed to take away all of his writing material, he kept on writing over parchments, until the day he died.
My take away from his life are
